Glass Fusing 101
Want to be tutored and learn how to make your own fused glass art? Unleash your inner artist by exploring the captivating art of fusing. With the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll have the opportunity to construct and mold your very own fused masterpiece.
Prior experience in stained glass or the completion of our introduction to stained glass course is required to take this class.
INTRODUCTION: Students will make a choice of designs provided by the studio. In this class, students will learn the basic techniques of cutting, layering, and arranging glass before fusing it in a kiln to create colorful and unique designs. The class covers essential safety tips, an overview of different types of glass, and guidance on selecting materials and tools. By the end of the course, participants will have crafted their own fused glass projects, such as jewelry, small dishes, or decorative art.
