This class is designed for those who have basic experience with glass fusing and are ready to advance their skills. Prerequisite knowledge of fusing or having taken the Introductory course for fusing is required.
What to expect: Students will make a choice of designs provided by the studio. In this course, students will delve into more complex techniques such as working with multiple layers, incorporating inclusions like metals or powders, and experimenting with three-dimensional forms. The class will also cover more advanced kiln schedules, exploring how different firing temperatures affect the final outcome. Participants will have the opportunity to refine their craftsmanship, work on personalized projects, and explore creative possibilities, resulting in more intricate and sophisticated fused glass art.
